The steps of SIT labeling

The steps of SIT labeling

SIT label - level 1
SIT label - level 2

The SIT label - Level 1 is managed by Agence LUCIE. It entails a five-step labeling process.

1

Joining the SIT Community

Start your SIT labeling process by contacting the Agence LUCIE team. You can then join the LUCIE Community.

2

MOOC and SIT certification

To earn the SIT Label - Level 1, you will need to complete the MOOC designed by the Institute for Sustainable IT. This MOOC is available online at no cost.

After completing the MOOC, you must earn the Sustainable IT Certificate issued by the ISIT and the University of La Rochelle to demonstrate mastery of the material.

3

Self-audit and preparation

You will use the framework to complete an online self-audit of SIT themes at your company.

At this point, you will start identifying actions to develop your SIT commitment. Expert Sustainable IT consultants (lien à ajouter) are available to provide support if you would like assistance.

4

Labeling audit

Your SIT strategy will then be subjected to a half-day remote audit by an expert from Agence LUCIE or Baker Tilly, following a documentary audit. After the audit, you will receive an audit report with your score out of 1000 points, a detailed audit of each principle of action, and recommendations on how to make progress.

5

Earning the SIT label - Level 1

If you score more than 300 points, your organization will receive the SIT - Level 1 label for 2 years. You will then have one month to define your action plan to develop your SIT commitment.

Please note that to ensure that there is a progression in terms of commitment between levels 1 and 2 of the SIT label, level 1 is limited to 600/1000 points. If your organization scores 600 points, we will recommend that you move up to level 2 at your next label renewal.

The SIT label - Level 2 is managed by Agence LUCIE. It entails a six-step labeling process.

1

Joining the SIT Community

Start your SIT labeling process by contacting the Agence LUCIE team. You can then join the LUCIE Community.

2

Training

An expert will provide 3 days of training (lien à ajouter): the first 2 on sustainable IT and the last on the labeling method.

At the end of the training, you will have all the tools and knowledge you need to create a simple, practical SIT action plan integrated into your CSR strategy. You can also take the Sustainable IT Certificate issued by the ISIT and the University of La Rochelle at the end of this training.

3

Self-audit and preparation

You will use the tools provided during the training to self-audit your organization's level on SIT themes.

The company will achieve compliance with the requirements of the SIT label. Expert Sustainable IT consultants (lien) are available to provide support if you would like assistance.

4

Labeling audit

Your SIT strategy will then be audited by SGS or Bureau Veritas Certification, which will submit its report to Agence LUCIE and your company simultaneously. Your company will then make commitments to reduce the impact of digital in a 3-year SIT action plan.

5

Obtaining the SIT label

To obtain the SIT Label, the audit report and your company's commitments will be sent to the labeling committee. The committee, which is run by the ISIT and made up of Green IT experts, is independent and has the sole authority to decide whether to award the label.

6

Follow-up and renewal

If you receive the label, Baker Tilly, Bureau Veritas Certification or SGS will perform a follow-up audit 18 months later to review the implementation of your sustainable IT commitments.
